2nd Annual Funding Forum helps local firms access funding

To further assist local firms and organizations to startup and growth, Sault Ste. Marie Economic Development Corporation (SSMEDC) through its Invest Sault Ste. Marie program, is hosting the 2nd annual Funding Forum on November 28th, from 1:00-4:30PM at Quattro Hotel and Conference Centre.

The Funding Forum is targeted at local businesses, industry and other organizations in the community looking to explore different funding and financing options available in Sault Ste. Marie. Attendees will hear from representatives of nine different organizations in one convenient location.

“Following up on the success of last year’s forum, we want to continue to help local businesses and organizations learn about the options available to them,” said Nevin Business, Manager of Trade and Investment with the Sault Ste. Marie Economic Development Corporation. “There is funding available in the community from our partners that can help startups, established businesses and businesses looking to expand their operations. We have assembled the organizations that offer funding programs and brought them to a single event where clients can learn about their options in one afternoon, and make the connections they need to facilitate continued business growth.”

Attendees of the session will have time to network , and connect directly with the speakers and representatives if they have specific questions. The following organizations will be participating at the event:
